Side Yard Studio builds tools, not audiences. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell your data, and we do not run ads. This policy explains what that means for this website and for the studio’s apps.

Who we are

This website and the studio’s apps are operated by Side Yard Studio LLC. Where this policy says “we” or “the studio,” it means Side Yard Studio LLC. You can reach us any time at contact@sideyardstudio.co.

This website

We do not add analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies to this site, and there are no accounts to create. The site is hosted by Vercel, which automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address and the pages requested. Vercel uses this to serve the site and protect it from abuse, under its own privacy terms. If you email the studio, we keep your message and address so we can reply.

The apps

Our apps are designed to work without accounts and without knowing who you are. Wherever possible, your content stays on your device or in a cloud account you control, such as iCloud. Where an app relies on an Apple or Google platform service, or on a service provider such as crash reporting, that company processes the related information under its own privacy policy.

Each app publishes its own privacy policy describing exactly what that app does, and its App Store or Google Play listing carries a privacy label that matches it. Where an app’s policy is more specific than this page, the app’s policy governs that app.

How we handle your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. The limited processing described above is carried out only by the service providers that run the studio, namely our web host and the app stores, and only to operate the site and the apps.

Children

This site and our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you or to have it deleted. Because we collect so little, there is usually very little to act on. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Write to us and we will help you use them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. For meaningful changes, we will make the update clear. Using the site or the apps after a change means you accept the revised policy.
